About Karen
Karen is certified in the MYK System, just completing her second certification program November 2023. She is a licensed massage therapist, practicing 16 years. She is licensed in Illinois, Missouri, and Michigan. Also, she is a past member of the Illinois Massage Licensing Board.
For fun, she is a National and International Special Olympic Soccer Referee.

MYK System Therapy, known as Myokinesthetic System, was developed by Dr. Michael Uriarte, D.C..
MYK is taught at the University of Idaho Masters and Doctorate of Athletic Training Programs.
MYK is your answer to gentle therapy to help you achieve your goal of becoming pain free or nearly pain free. The MYK works by balancing your posture through specific muscle movements. The advantage is that you remain comfortable and fully clothed during your session. Sessions range from 5-18 minutes. Wheelchair bound clients can be treated while seated. Treatments include specific migraine protocols, carpal tunnel and neuropathy.
